The tissue present in the body varies from person to person. Presence of excessive fatty tissues needs liposuction, while the excess glandular tissue can be surgically removed with the scalpel. In many cases, the combination of both the surgeries is required. The areola of the breast will be stretched and the excess tissues will be removed to minimize the size of the nipple.
It is two-hour long surgery. The process is carried out under general anesthesia although local anesthesia may be needed along with sedation. You might experience some amount of stiffness and soreness after the surgery is done. Medicines will be prescribed to relieve the pain, stiffness, and soreness. Drinking and smoking should be avoided after the surgery. Any form of heavy exercises should be avoided.
